It's for a WORTHY cause. We have provided decades of scholarships, at-risk youth intervention counseling at schools and a free unique summer programs for youth and communities. Foundation officers and board members have NEVER been compensated since the foundation was created after the death of Mark Kilroy in 1989. The foundation saves money in various ways by purchasing items on sale and asking for discounts. In recent years, the public through charitable bingo has been the primary source of donated funds to keep the foundation going. but that could change if gambling is made legal in Texas. We also receive private donations. Our foundation has expanded college scholarship program scholarship awards keep growing! Please help our students by donating whatever you can afford since their scholarships make them more productive members of society by expanding their educations and trade school expertise. No donation is too small and every dollar helps us.
